Welcome to the STAY POSITIVE blog! We’re Jan and Gabika, siblings from Hlohovec, and we’re here to share something more than just clothing. Our brand is a story of dreams, passion, and perseverance – and today, we’d love to tell you how it all started.

Taking the First Steps Toward Our Dream

Our journey began back in 2011 when I, Jan, discovered the Carhartt brand. It was the first time I truly appreciated high-quality clothing, and it inspired me to dream of creating my own fashion line. Together with Gabika, who pours her love into every stitch, we started experimenting. Our first project was simple – cozy hoodies made from soft fabrics, mostly for ourselves and our friends.

But as life got busy, our dream took a backseat. Then the COVID-19 pandemic hit, and it made us reflect on what truly mattered. At the beginning of 2023, we decided to give it another go, this time with a clear mission: to create meaningful, sustainable, and stylish fashion.

Returning to Our Roots

One of the moments that reignited our passion was when I put on a hoodie Gabika had made for me 12 years ago. It still looked fantastic! It was a sign that we should pick up where we left off. That’s how STAY POSITIVE was born – a brand symbolizing optimism, resilience, and a love for adventure.
